This evening an audience of 20 were let into the workings of the Border Search & Rescue Unit, which has been the Maxton 21 "Charity for 2015", in an excellent illustrated talk by Seymour Haugh, a former leader of the group, supported by Kevin and Brian.
After the talk, Jimmy Wilson, Chair of Maxton 21, presented Brian with a cheque for £1028.47 which represented the monies raised by the group on behalf of the Unit. Additional monies which have been donated on line and through the collection tins added £161.36, giving a total of £1189.83.
Thanks to all who assisted Maxton 21 in supporting their "Charity for 2015" The Border Search & Rescue Unit.
