Maxton Meets The Border Search & Rescue Unit

This evening an audience of 20 were let into the workings of the Border Search & Rescue Unit, which has been the Maxton 21 "Charity for 2015", in an excellent illustrated talk by Seymour Haugh, a former leader of the group, supported by Kevin and Brian.

After the talk, Jimmy Wilson, Chair of Maxton 21, presented Brian with a cheque for 1028.47 which represented the monies raised by the group on behalf of the Unit. Additional monies which have been donated on line and through the collection tins added 161.36, giving a total of 1189.83.

Thanks to all who assisted Maxton 21 in supporting their "Charity for 2015" The Border Search & Rescue Unit.
