Maxton 21 Supporting Border Holiday Group - Tom's Walk

Maxton 21 Supporting Border Holiday Group

Maxton 21 has selected Border Holiday Group to be its “Charity for 2014”

Throughout the year Maxton 21 members, as individuals and as a Group, will be raising funds in support of the Charity.

The first fund raiser will be a sponsored walk by Tom Veitch of the Camino de Santiago.
Tom, not satisfied with his walk of the Pennine Way in 2013, is taking his trusty boots to the continent, to walk from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port to Santiago. He will be flying out on 28th April to start on the 29th and hopefully arrive Santiago 25 - 28 days later. The distance he will cover on the Camino Frances is 500 miles.

Details of the community he has joined can be found at: Camino Frances

He has set up a Just Giving page for the British Heart Foundation and a BT My Donate for Border Holiday Group to allow sponsors to support him on line.

The opportunity to support him will also be available at the Maxton Village Hall Coffee Morning and Plant Sale on May 24th, when up-to-date information on the Border Holiday Group’s next trip will be available.

Donations will also be accepted by Committee Members of Maxton 21.

Updates on Tom’s progress will be put up on:
