Minutes of AGM held on 21st March 2011
The minutes of the previous AGM held on 21st March 2011 were distributed and accepted as an accurate record.

11th Annual Report for AGM
Charlie presented the 11th Annual Report to the AGM. The report was accepted as an accurate record of the events and happenings of 2011.

Treasurer’s Report
Isobel produced the spreadsheet reports for the previous year. Isobel noted the increased income from ‘Maxton Meets’, charity contributions and hall rental in particular.
The new metering system for electricity had now produced one account, and a monthly account is expected.
The balance of the Maxton 21 account at the end of 2011 was £9396.62, which included the sum for the charity for 2011, which had still to be handed over, and monies for the kitchen renovations,
Jimmy proposed the accounts for 2011 be accepted. This was seconded by Charlie.
A suitable gift has been given to our auditor for her time and effort on our behalf.

On behalf of the group, Douglas thanked the Office Bearers for their work over the past year.

Neighbourhood Watch
The present members of the Neighbourhood Watch team have expressed a willingness to continue.
The Area Co-ordinator is Charlie Denoon
The Co-ordinators are Tony and Helen Herring
The Secretary is Elvira Denoon.

Any Other Business
The continuing problem with Scottish Water will be raised by Douglas with Rob Nicolson of CBAVH as this does not seem to be solely a Maxton problem, and a combined attack on the problem might help.

The AGM was concluded at 7.46pm at which time the regular meeting of Maxton 21 commenced.
