Count Us In!

Count Us In!

We are delighted to have been awarded a grant from the Scottish Government's Games for Scotland programme to celebrate the 1000 day countdown to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games on 27 October 2011.

The Arts Development team at Scottish Borders Council are inviting groups to take part in a Borders wide "Flash" dance event in their local community. Our goal is to have 1000 Borders' residents dancing on one day to mark this milestone.

For those in the community who would like a less energetic way to participate we are inviting individuals or groups to send in photos and video clips which feature or represent any number / numbers between 1 and 100 to be included in our visual countdown to the games in 2014 and will be displayed on public service screens across the Borders and used throughout the 1000 day countdown.

Anyone who would like further information or would like to take part should contact arts development on 01750 724901 or email artservice@scotborders.gov.uk

We really appreciate your support
