Repairs and Improvements
Jimmy reported that Cllr Len Wyse had informed him that a sum of 6000 had been set aside in the SBC Budget for 2011 12 for replacement of the roof on the Hall extension. This was welcomed by all present as the roof is still leaking, despite repeated attempts to repair it. As a result the work on the kitchen will be postponed until after the new roof is in place.
Letter received from The Bridge and Lothian and Borders Police regarding the hiring of Halls to groups who are liable to indulge in under-age drinking. It was agreed that any approach would be considered and refused.
