The new Lothian & Borders Police Structure for Community Policing.
From 10th January 2011 there will be three Community Policing Areas ( CPA ) covering the Scottish Borders.
Each CPA is commanded by an Inspector, who will supervise response and community policing in that area.
The areas will be :
North CPA : Peebles, Galashiels & Melrose;
East CPA : Duns, Lauder, Kelso, Eyemouth & Coldstream;
South CPA : Selkirk, Hawick, Jedburgh & St.Boswells (inc Maxton).
Inspector Paula Clark is in charge of the South CPA.
There will be 1 community beat sergeant in each CPA. Sergeant Kelly in our CPA will have 6 officers responding to him.
