Treasurer's Report
The balance at the end of September stands at 6957.03 of which 372 70 is in the Charity fund.

Past Events
Homecoming Sunday:
Considered a great success. 62 people visited and 150 was donated to the charity fund. Maxton 21 is grateful to Joe, Dave and Bill from HMS MAXTON and Andy, Billy, Brian and Geoff for their efforts to make the day a success. Thanks also to the behind the scenes team who fed and watered the visitors.
The painting of HMS MAXTON has now been framed and hung on the wall above the music centre. The cost of framing came from the "book fund".
Maxton Met Ruaraidh Hamilton:
Excellent turn-out (26) and first class talk. Gave an insight into the thinking behind the way the authorities are going about their work of reducing wild-life crime.
Maxton Met Ian Hird:
Another first rate evening's entertainment with an enlightening talk and superb slides. 25 people were given an account of the process which had gone on in Ian's development as a potter, and were taken through the various steps he goes through in taking initial ideas and combining them with others to produce a finished article, both with the development of the Pit Kiln and with individual pieces of art pottery.
