Ruaraidh Hamilton, Wildlife and Conservation Officer with Lothian and Borders Police, gave a fascinating insight into the work with which he is involved.
He covered the many areas of criminal activity, most of which are designed to make money for the offenders, which are prevalent in our area.
He was able to answer the questions asked after his talk, diplomatically, realising, as we all do, that crime against humans and their property will always take priority over wildlife crime.
We thanks Ruaraidh for coming to talk to us.
