Neighbourhood Watch Warning - Bogus Workmen

Lothian and Borders Police have issued a warning about bogus workmen in the area. Two men, working together, were seen in Earlston on Saturday 29th March at 8am, and again in Jedburgh about 9.30am.
In Earlston, they left when ID was demanded, but in Jedburgh they gained access to a house and stole items.

You are reminded that you should NEVER let anyone not known to you enter your house without asking for and checking their Identification. If you are in any doubt, refuse entry and phone 999"
