St Andrews Night with Carlenjig at Maxton Village Hall

St Andrew's Night

A rather damp and dismal evening didn't deter a good crowd from coming to the village hall to celebrate St Andrew's night. The musical entertainment was provided by Carlenjig who played two sets of terrific music either side of a stovie supper and quiz compiled by resident quiz master Tom Veitch.

A raffle held on behalf of the Maxton 21 charity for 2007 - BAAGS, raised £39. Thanks to everyone for buying tickets and donating prizes.

Our thanks to Carlenjig for a great evening's music, Isobel, Eileen and Priscilla for cooking the stovies and to Tom for getting the brains ticking over with the quiz.
