Treasurer’s Report
As of 19th March 2007 the accounts stand as follows

Maxton 21 account - £12,433.43
Hall account - £1,535.81*
Savings account - £1,138.81

* includes a grant of £600 from the federation of village halls for tables and tea/coffee dispensers

During the Treasurer’s report, it was decided that the hall hire charge for the forthcoming elections would be set at £200.00. This was within the average that other village halls were charging.

Previous Events
None to report

Future Events
The first upcoming event will be the coffee morning on 26th May 2007. It was decided to finalise this and the other events for the year at the next Maxton 21 meeting in April.

Hall Report
The present building works are progressing. It is hoped that the toilet facilities will be finished in time for the elections in May. There will be one toilet and hand basin finished in time for the visit of the cross bearer’s party arriving on 31st March 2007.

Any other business
Thanks were passed to Douglas for opening up the Kirk for tonight’s meetings. Maxton 21 also asked Douglas to pass on our gratitude for allowing us to hold our meeting and AGM in the Kirk.
