Maxton Village Hall had a full house last night when newcomer to the village, Rosemary Dean gave a most enlightening talk on her speciality of "Complementary Medicine". Her new shop and clinic in Melrose is the staging post for a series of practitioners throughout the week, and she gave a quick outline of the various methods on offer.
She then delved much deeper into Kinesiology, one of her own specialities, explaining what it could do for people and demonstrating how it is carried out.
Our thanks to Rosemary for giving of her time to talk to us, and to local volunteer Kirsty for allowing herself to be used as the model for the demonstration.
This is the last of the 2004-5 season of Maxton Meets, but we could well be back for a new series of 6 talks in the autumn.
Thanks to all our speakers and to all those who came and supported Maxton Meets.
