Maxton Sees in 2004

Maxton Village Hall, full to capacity, danced its way into 2004. Despite a power cut in the early part of the evening, which affected the whole area, the party went with a swing to the music of Steve Kendal. Our pantomime this year was a "minor variation" on the tale of Rumpelstiltskin, with appropriate local colour, well performed and much enjoyed.

Thanks to Jessica for her excellent dancing, as always, and to all who made the evening the success it undoubtedly was.

During the evening a cheque for 350 was presented to the Maxton 21 "Charity for 2003" - Aberlour Childcare Trust.

The Maxton 21 "Charity for 2004" is the Multiple Sclerosis Society Borders Branch.
