1st April - saw first Small Tortoiseshell in garden.
3rd April - Spotted Woodpeckers hammering away in the Woods.
10th April- Woods full of the scent of Wild Garlic.
11th April- First swallows of the year arrived at Maxton Cross. Earliest ever.
17th April- First Peacock Butterfly down by the Tweed.
20th April- Saw a Jay at Rutherford Mains crossroads
