A circular walk to Newton Hill fort and Barnes Loch and a look around the remains of Stobs Camps in the company of Scottish Borders Council Archaeologist.
(3 miles/5km with a 300ft/100m total climb).
No dogs.
Meeting Place - by Stobs Camps.
Follow the B6399 Newcastleton road for 3 mile/5 kms south from Hawick. At the War memorial turn right up a minor road, under a railway bridge and park beyond the cattle grid near Barns.
