Comments: My ancestor, of the same name, was steward of Rutherford Burnside in the mid-1800;s and is buried in Maxton Parish graveyard.
My wife Cecily and I will be in Melrose over Easter and will want to come to church on Easter Sunday--either at Maxton or in Newtown St Boswells.
